Well they ain't democrats anymore doing all the racist nonsense that you republicans love to cheat with and deny people the right to vote and decent medical care. The ads that the dems are now coming forth with are nothing but the truth about the KKK tactics used by a party that cares nothing about either the truth or this country.

NSH - I think what Diana was saying wasn't necessarily in direct conflict with your sentiments. But Boomers didn't all take and not give....Civil Rights and anti-war marches were not all self-involved. As for Fox, the Tea Party etc....I find it curious that you want to hang that on Boomers when....it happened on your watch.

The immigration bill, which does appear to represent the will of the people although I have not seen a poll question specifically on this, has been held up by Republican leadership in the House and no one else. If it was allowed to come up for a vote it would probably pass, but the extreme or base part of the Republican party has the final say on this as on some other issues.

Democrats have to cringe with this. This bad idea was held on to until after the election. The Democrats lost big time anyway. Now that Obama has hurt the party with the most recent election, he is working on the next disaster.

Having engineered a new era of Republican hegemony, voters in the South will now have to live with the consequences of one-party rule across their region. In time, through hard experience, the value of aiming for a greater balance of political power may become more appealing to their political sensibilities.

I do not understand this article completely. Where does the fact that a majority of voters are fed up with the Republican Party in doing nothing factor into the vote? If they are truly fed up, doesn't that lead to a Democratic majority vote?

Way back in 08 when Obama was first elected, it is already noticeable that the man was just too incompetent, too divisive and a man with no purpose but rather divide the country in racial and social divisions. Add to the fact the lies that he commits. First thing that came to mind is that not only will he destroy the country but the Democrat Party as well.
