It's really too bad that the Supreme Court voted to allow rich people to buy elections. Talk about judicial activism. There it is, and not on behalf of ordinary folks; on behalf of the obscenely rich.

While I am happy with this ruling, it doesn't redeem this court. The Hobby Lobby ruling and Voting Rights Act ruling were both atrocious and will have negative impacts for generations.

So now YOU are recommending that MORE unarmed people be shot? In this country, we are supposed to arrest and try people in court and then execute whatever sentence is handed down by a judge.

I have thought and thought, and all I end up thinking is that a Supreme Court majority has decided that my religious beliefs are less important than my potential employer. This makes no Constitutional sense to me.

Out of touch with the constitution??? The court is not to decide what they or you want, but rather what the constitution or the law requires.

Reid left the filibuster intact for legislation and Supreme Court confirmations.

McConnell has already said they will restore the old rules.

A pity. The filibuster is anti-democratic and should be abolished for all things.

SKM - there is no rationale for why vaccines are excluded. It just so happens that the 5 justices now are Catholic. If the next ones are Jevoha's Witnesses, they could use the identical rationale (or lack thereof).

Do you really want your rights based on who happens to be sitting on the Court?

This decision will picked apart and abused of years. It's barely comprehensible how the Court interprets the Constitution at the best of times. This represents absolute pretzel logic with so many holes it's ridiculous. What a joke.

The 5 reliably ridiculous votes on this Supreme Court need to be reduced to 4, whatever it takes. Too bad none of them is terminally ill. But seriously, the only way to eventually get rid of this theocratic, biased majority is to elect another Democratic president in 2016, and again in 2020. Otherwise, we're destined to have continued and increasingly disastrous results from their decisions.

All the more reason why these positions should not be elected but appointments. Shame of the supposed officers of the law who tamper with evidence to destroy the lives of the accused. It is unconscionable that they would do these things. The supreme court justices should be ashamed of themselves as well. This is a travesty not justice.
