Wild-eyed Liberals love ALL communist countries - of course the NYT loves Cuba.

But those same Liberals would be thrown into a political prison for publishing this same article in Cuba.

Liberal don't do very well at logic - don't listen to them..........

Well, yes, and it's also the same Russia that put those missiles in Cuba to begin with, led by someone probably more tyrannical than Krushchev. The same Russia with whom the United States has full diplomatic relations, despite its actions that are more directly inimical to U.S. Interests than anything Cuba is doing.

of course before the "Castro" revolution Cuba was in fantastic shape. I would say that huge damage was done to Cuba decades before Castro!

There is nothing even remotely "unjust" about Cuba's imprisonment of Alan Gross. It is unjust that those who sent him on his repeated missions to Cuba in violation of Cuban law are not in prison as well.

The Cuban oligarchy that fled Castro has perverted American freedoms they enjoy in a doomed effort to reestablish their rule back in Cuba. I have no sympathy for them.
