Why can't we just read one article about one bias at a time? Just because age-ism exists doesn't mean that sexism doesn't exist. Both can be real biases! And both can get their own articles! Don't divert the conversation, it's petty.

at the very least, USA military doctors should be observing doctors without borders staff to get real-time training IN CASE there are outbreaks in the future from random OR "terrorist" threats.

Mr. Friedman is not attempting to address everything in his article: the point is that these issues were not adequately addressed in the election. We are dealing with the real issues. Instead there was a lot of mudslinging, many accusations but nothing constructive.

Good post but your last sentence a real head scratcher. Why? Because Martoma was proven not just guilty, but also plain stupid. This kid is probably scheming to falsify his sentence next.

For every voter who is prevented from voting by these repugnant laws, there are ten who voluntarily don't vote. Voter turnout, especially in mid-term elections, is appallingly low. That is the real problem to solve.

Don't know about the Midwest, but here in NYC a lot of "doctors" have gone to jail for not being "doctors" . I understand your anger and frustration,yetyour generalizations don't reflect the reality of what most real physicians do on a daily basis
