Australia is a democracy and they have strict election laws. The two are not mutually exclusive.

I thought Australia had the highest percentage of plant and animal species found no where else.

We didn't need the NRA, Christine.

Lefties like Len Charlap just stand right up and tell us precisely what they wish to do -- confiscate all firearms, as was in done in Australia.

i agree that crossing one’s legs is a rightful use of space and if it impedes on another’s right to recline, the conflict needs to be settled amicably. however, i see no amicable solution.

an attendant once demanded that i uncross my legs so that the person in front of me could recline. nothing i said was considered even for a moment, including that i needed to alleviate my leg pain. i did uncross my legs because i would have been removed from the flight.

what a ridiculous solution!

i now take the train whenever possible but that doesn’t solve the same problem for other travellers.

Look to what Australia has demonstrated: when people are obliged to vote, they study up on it.

A solution like this could easily have disastrous and unintended consequence, like importing rabbits to Australia.
